Very Clean & Well Maintained! 2 Long Term Texas Owners, Rebuilt 4.3L V6, Nice!
Stock #:
4753-DFW
Exterior Color:
Black
Interior Color:
Gray
Body Type:
Pickup Truck
Transmission:
4 Speed Automatic
Drivetrain:
RWD
Engine:
4.3L Vortec V6
Mileage:
188,591
It's obvious that GM built 1/2 ton pickups like this 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 with utility and practicality in mind, but they certainly didn't forget about style. Sure, it's still a rugged truck underneath, but on the outside it's one of the best-looking trucks ever built. Add in the slick black paint job with a few 'Harley Davidson' accents normally found on the neighboring Ford F-150, a comfortable A/C interior, and rebuilt 4.3L Vortec motor, and you've got one of the cooler 'modern' classic pickups you can get for under k.
This truck's sleek, black paint looks fantastic on this GMC Old Body Style (OBS) pickup, especially with the extended cab design and elevated stance of this '94 Sierra. 1994 was one of the last years you could get an extended cab this big without at least one hinged door, and with all the 4-door trucks on the road today, it's nice to see a throwback to the way that things used to be. That super-long cab design on this Wideside pickup really makes the truck look imposing, even with the desirable short bed out back. The finish work on the Black paint is very high-end, so nice that it looks rarely driven and certainly not indicative of the mileage on the odometer. That would lead us to believe that this a faithful respray, and the added 'Harley Davidson' pinstripe and badges, along with the super-clear lenses fore and aft, only further solidify that claim. And with all that laser-straight bodywork still looking like you could set your clock to it, it means it has always been someone's special truck. Out back, the bed was lined with black spray-in bedliner that really looks great with the matching finish, and also means that you can still use this truck like it was originally intended. And there's enough real estate back there to drag away half of Home Depot with you on the weekends. Other neat touches include the big red GMC emblem in the front grille, fresh headlights/taillights, and tinted windows that give the truck a mysterious disposition that works great.
Slip inside and have a seat in the bone-stock interior. Comfortable captain's bucket seats up front and a matching rear bench makes this a first-class way to haul you, your people, and your gear - and the two-tone gray cloth upholstery looks nicely maintained throughout. Because this is a modern GMC it is optioned with all the creature comforts of the era, including working air conditioning which still blows ice cold, plus an aftermarket JVC AM/FM/CD stereo, cruise control, power windows, power locks, and a tilt wheel are all at your fingertips, further blurring the line between blue-and-white collar transportation. And we haven't forgotten that this is a truck with a half ton load capacity and so power steering and power front disc brakes make it all manageable. Remarkably, the dash pad isn't even cracked (a recurring problem on OBS trucks) and the giant rear window provides a cool fish-bowl like atmosphere inside. Given the condition of the interior, there's just no question this truck has always been a respected member of the family.
Open the hood and inspect the nicely detailed original engine bay. This Sierra is equipped with a rebuilt 4.3L Vortec V6 TBI (rebuilt at 162K miles according to corresponding receipts) that has been fitted to everything from Camaros to, well, pickup trucks. And before you bemoan the lack of 2 extra cylinders (essentially this is a lightweight V8 with #6 and #3 cylinders removed), note that the Vortec V6 was in many ways similar to the V8s of the era, although much more efficient. In fact, the 4.3L V6 was the first to bear the Vortec name, and because the motor was so successful, the Vortec moniker would then be applied across GM's V8 line as well. The Vortecs were popular right away and mass-produced, therefore constantly reaping the benefits of refinements within the electrical and engine management systems, making them the first truly modern GM motors. There's more than enough power available if you choose to leave the motor bone stock like this one, which looks like it just rolled out of the showroom and still runs superbly. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission is also performing without complaint and there isn't a better transmission available to have; after all, fuel mileage matters these days. Also take a look at the super clean undercarriage, where you'll find no secrets, thanks to a lifetime in the warm Texas climate, and again, it suggests that this truck has led a very good life. Awesome 17-inch chrome wheels add some flash to the short-bed pickup, endowing it with a sporty demeanor and it carries tough-looking 265/70/17 BFGoodrich radials that add great curb appeal.
Still cool after all these years, GM has yet to top the slick OBS trucks of the mid-90s. With this one, you'll be the envy of every cruise night you attend. Call today!

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).
FEES
: A documentation fee of 9 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.
AVAILABILITY
: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
CONTACT
: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.
INSPECTION
: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable 0 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
DRIVE IT HOME
: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.
DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE
: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
VIN VERIFICATION
: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
MILEAGES
: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.
CONDITION
: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.
AS-IS
: All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle's condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!
