This is a rare January 6, 1958  VINTAGE PLAYBILL  of the Original Broadway production of the JOSEPH FIELDS and PETER DE VRIES comedy "THE TUNNEL OF LOVE" at the National Theatre in New York City.    The play starred pre-TONIGHT SHOW, JOHNNY CARSON in his Broadway debut, and MARSHA HUNT.
CREDITS: Book by JOSEPH FIELDS ("Wonderful Town", "The Girl in Pink Tights", "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", "Flower Drum Song") and PETER DE VRIES based on the novel by PETER DE VRIES; Sets designed by RALPH ALSWANG; Costumes designed by VIRGINIA VOLLAND; Staged by JOSEPH FIELDS; Produced by THE THEATRE GUILD.  The 52 page playbill measures 6 1/2" X 9" inches and contains some great vintage advertisements from 1958 (see scans...John Wayne selling Rheingold Beer, Frank Sinatra pushing Chesterfield Cigarettes)
